We stopped by as a family and this place is great. The service was exceptional and portions were perfect. I had the chicken fried steak with baked potato soup and salad. My wife said the cat fish was outstanding. Never had to ask for refills or anything. Hot rolls are a nice add also. Would definitely come back but unfortunately we live quite a ways from here. Definitely give it a try.

The service was excellent and the food very good. I had biscuits and gravy. The gravy is homemade and the portions are good for the price. Also had two eggs over easy and they were just like I would have prepared them. If this place was closer I would eat here more often.

The ladies that work there are the sweetest! Lunch and dinner are always good. They have great sticky rolls but run out often! Not the kinda place to go if you're watching your calories!

This is by far my favorite resturant, a full menu of amazing food, my favorite is frog legs, and they are the larger ones, cant forget about the burgers too, they a good size and with a side of fries, it will fill you up really well the prices are really great and wont break the wallet for a great lunch or dinner, good service as all the waitress are really nice and professional

I think Chubby's will get a lot of service from us in the future. I loved the fish sandwich, it came out hot and fresh with all the trimmings! Breakfast is always a good idea! Only wish they didn't have to be closed early on the weekend. My next trip will have to include the pie. Good service and looks clean! I highly recommend!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in the area, hands down. If you like clean country diners that have friendly wait staff, great quality food (Chubby Burger will change your life), and a good cup of coffee...check this place out!

Chubby's is a good local diner. It's family owned and operated and has a great staff. They have a terrific breakfast selection. I recommend one of the breakfast specials. They also have a Friday night buffet with catfish frog legs and fried chicken that I highly recommend! If you are traveling through the area and you are hungry this is a good place to stop for a bite.

wish they would not put sliced processed cheese on my eggs but regular cheese. Some things are really good and others are fair to middlin. Had a steak and it was tough and chewy. Throwed rolls were actually hand delivered but I also was not in a mood to play catch so I was good with that one but if one wanted them thrown I am sure they would be happy to oblige. Love their pancakes and omelets, just not the processed cheese slices.

This is one of those local places that used to sit along side of every highway in America before there were interstates. The menu consists of the good old 1950s & 60s staples. They serve breakfast all day long. So one can always get biscuits and gravy any time of the day. If breakfast is not what one wants at two in the afternoon, the Chubby Burger, Pork Cultlet, Openface Roast Beef with Masted Tatters, or the Liver & Onions will make you feel like you are on the road again with the windows rolled down doing eighty since who had AC. Also catch a roll and butter it up while you wait for your meal.
